Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl (at first Stalker: Oblivion LOST) is a video game created by the Ukrainian GSC Game Globe Studio. This is a survival — first-person capturing game incorporating role-play products.
In Stalker, the gamer takes the identification of an artefact of the location. The area is the area of explosion of the Chernobyl nuclear reactor in 1986, which has actually become a No Guy’s Land where radiation cause odd changes in fauna as well as vegetation, in addition to abnormalities in physical laws. The gamer can walk around to make his objectives.
In early 2007, THE, the game author, exposed that Stalker was the acronym for Scavengers, Trespassers, Adventurers, Loners, Killers, Explorers and Robbers. Translated into French, these terms suggest looters, criminals, adventurers, solitary, killers, travelers and thieves. The English verb to track also indicates innovation development, trace, prowling.
