In Aliens: Fireteam Elite the first season was initiated with today. This adds numerous new content and made various improvements.

From now on, a new class kit called Phalanx is available. If you select this, you have a sign in combat. For this you have to do without a primary weapon and put it on your pistol. In addition, you can trigger a shockwave if you will be surrounded by the bloodthirsty aliens. The kit is directly released if you start the game after the installed update.

In order to make the alive hunt more versatile, the developers have introduced four new weapons. Among them is a MiniGun, two rifles and a hand cannon. To adapt the design, there is also new color variants and stickers.

DLC package with cosmetic content available

Also a DLC package is part of Season 1. Buyer of the Deluxe Edition will receive free access. The rest must pay 9.99 euros for it.

You will receive the following content:

  • Twelve kit skins
  • Four weapons stickers
  • Four weapons
  • Four head accessories
  • Four emotes
  • Three Challenge Card packages
  • Three consumables packages
  • A Credit package

In order not to discriminate the current players, your previous weapons will be set to the highest level. In addition, you now need fewer experience points for a level rise.

Let’s get to the adjustments and bug fixes. The development team has worked on both the sound, the combat system, the environment and the user interface. Furthermore, general adjustments were implemented on performance and stability. The full patch notes can be found on the official website of the game.
